Designer - Japan

Born in Toronto, Canada, in 1977, Oki Sato opened his design studio in Tokyo, Japan, in 2002 : Nendo. He is elected from among the 100 most respected Japanese by Newsweek magazine in 2007. 


Nendo parts are in New York in the collections of the Museum of Modern Art, the Museum of Arts and Design, the Cooper-Hewitt, National Design Museum in France and the Museum of Decorative Arts in Paris and the Centre Pompidou. Specimen and Pierre Alain Challier devote in January 2012 his first solo exhibition in Paris full of 14 pieces on the theme of interdependence between furniture and objects.
