Enrico Azzimonti, born in 1966, studied at the Polytechnic of Milan where he obtained a degree in architecture in 1993 and a Master in Design & Management in 1995. In 1994, he founded his own design and architecture studio.
Since 1998, he has worked closely with the Catalan designer Jordi Pigem. Her work stands out in several competitions and exhibitions (JVC camcorder new generation, Frame Dainese safety Opos, 100% Design, Salone Satellite in Milan, Saint-Etienne Biennale International, Living Valencia Nu, the design of the New Italian Triennale Milan). Specialized in Italy and abroad, the press were awarded to three editions of the International Design Yearbook and the ADI Design Index 2007. Some of his works are part of the permanent collection of the Museum of Decorative Arts in Barcelona. He has held workshops in several Italian universities, including UIL Venice IUAV in San Marino, La Sapienza University of Rome and the Istituto Marangoni in Milan.
Since 2006 he has taught at the European Institute of Design in Milan and worked for companies such as Zava, TVS, Lavazza, Fratelli Guzzini, Coop, JVC, Diamantini & Domeniconi, Bilumen or Risoli.
